Faithful in the Waiting
This season has not looked the way we expected.
Our mission forward has been delayed, altered, and stretched in ways that test patience and require trust beyond planning. There are moments when it would be easy to describe this time as stalled or uncertain. But that is not what it is.
This season is active obedience.
We are not standing still. We are not waiting passively. We are choosing to steward the time and space God has given us with intention, discipline, and faith.
Scripture reminds us that identity is not defined by circumstance.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
If God has prepared good works in advance, then delay does not cancel purpose. It simply changes the order of steps.
What Obedience Looks Like Right Now
Obedience does not always look like movement across borders or the fulfillment of long-held plans. Sometimes it looks like quiet faithfulness where you are planted.
As a family, we have made the intentional decision not to waste this season. We are treating it as preparation rather than interruption.
During this time, I am expanding our LLC to provide tailored leadership development and executive coaching. This work is not separate from our mission. It is an extension of it.
Leadership is stewardship. It is service. It is responsibility carried well.
By developing leaders, coaching those who carry weight for others, and building frameworks rooted in integrity and accountability, we are continuing the work God placed in our hands long before this delay existed.
In parallel, I have begun authoring a three-book series centered on my personal leadership philosophy. This writing is slow, prayerful, and intentional. It is not driven by urgency or frustration, but by obedience.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
Proverbs 16:3
This is what committing the work looks like for us right now.
Shifting the Story We Tell
There is a temptation in seasons like this to explain ourselves. To justify the delay. To apologize for not being where we thought we would be by now.
We are choosing a different posture.
We are choosing to speak life into this season and into ourselves.
We are choosing to trust that God is not surprised by timing changes and that formation often happens in the unseen spaces.
“But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
Waiting, in Scripture, is never passive. It is active trust. It is preparation with expectation.
To Those Walking With Us
To those who continue to support us, pray for us, and believe in what God is doing through our family, we want you to know this.
Your support is not sitting idle.
It is bearing fruit in ways that may not yet be visible, but are very real. You are part of the preparation, the refining, and the work that is happening now, not just what will happen later.
This season is shaping us as leaders, as parents, as servants, and as stewards. It is strengthening foundations rather than rushing outcomes.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9
We have not given up. We are not discouraged. We are faithful.
Looking Forward With Peace
We still believe deeply in the mission ahead. That has not changed.
What has changed is our posture. We are no longer measuring progress by proximity to a destination. We are measuring it by faithfulness in the present.
This season is not wasted. It is being redeemed.
More will come in time. For now, we continue to walk forward, hands open, hearts steady, doing the work set before us today.
Thank you for walking with us.
